Schedule

This course is broken up into two major units, followed by one minor unit. The major units conclude with a midterm while the minor unit ends with the final exam.

The schedule below is tentative; we might have small adjustments in the dates. For each week I’ve included which sections from the textbook we will be covering.

  • Unit 1 (1/21–3/2)

    • Week 1: Intro, linear functions (2.1, 2.2)

    • Week 2: Quadratic functions (3.2)

    • Week 3: Power and radical functions (3.8)

    • Week 4: Exponential and logarithmic functions (4.1–4.4)

    • Week 5: More exponential and logarithmic functions (4.5, 4.6) [No class Monday.]

    • Campus closure due to blizzard.

    • Week 7: Midterm 1: Monday 3/2, Trigonemetry: circles (5.1–5.2)

  • Spring break!

  • Unit 2 (3/4–4/15):
